Schwing America is seeking an experienced Welders to join our manufacturing team in White Bear Lake, Minnesota. In this role, you'll fabricate and weld components used in industry-leading concrete pumps and heavy construction equipment while working in a clean, safety-focused manufacturing environment.

What You'll Do

  • Perform MIG welding on heavy equipment components according to blueprints and weld specifications.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and product drawings to determine proper weld locations and layouts.
  • Operate welding equipment while producing high-quality welds that meet German DIN and AWS standards.
  • Grind, deburr, polish, and finish welded components to company quality standards.
  • Inspect completed work to ensure accuracy, quality, and consistency.
  • Repair and rework welds when necessary.
  • Review daily production schedules with the Production Lead to meet production goals.
  • Report safety, quality, tooling, or equipment concerns promptly.
  • Utilize barcode scanners and computer systems to review work instructions and track labor.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What You Bring

  • Technical degree in Welding required.
  • Qualified to AWS D1.1.
  • Ability to pass Schwing America's weld test and maintain welding certification.
  • Experience reading and interpreting blueprints and weld symbols.
  • Strong production welding experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Comfortable using computers to access work instructions and record production information.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
  • Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.

Physical Requirements

  • Perform work on the manufacturing floor throughout the shift.
  • Lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
  • Pass an annual Jaeger Eye Examination.
