TIG Welder

Master Builder / TIG Welder

Setting/Hours: 100% In-Office | 6:00am - 4:30pm Mon-Thurs 

Join trak group in partnering with a growing client in Springdale, Ohio that’s expanding its Manufacturing team. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Follow established quality standards and procedures, ensuring all work aligns with defined processes and expectations

• Take ownership of responsibilities by working accurately, checking completed tasks, and understanding individual impact on overall objectives

• Read and interpret blueprints to lay out jobs, cut materials, and assemble steel components for construction and fabrication projects

• Perform welding and fabrication of pipe and sheet metal, including MIG and TIG welding on mild and stainless steel

• Operate a variety of manufacturing and fabrication equipment, including welders, drill presses, grinders, saws, plasma cutters, and other hand tools

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times

• Support team members as needed to ensure efficient workflow and project completion

• Conduct quality checks on work and report any safety or quality concerns to management promptly

• Assist with training and onboarding of temporary or new employees when needed

Qualifications:

• No formal supervisory responsibilities, with the opportunity to assist in training and supporting new or temporary team members

• High school diploma or equivalent required, along with 3–5 years of experience in industrial welding, fabrication, and blueprint reading

• Ability to communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and other departments regarding job progress and issues

• Basic math skills required, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division

• Strong problem-solving abilities to identify workflow challenges and contribute to effective solutions

• No specific certifications or licenses required

• Role requires physical stamina, including standing for extended periods and performing movements such as kneeling, bending, climbing, and lifting

• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. independently and more with assistance or equipment

• Work takes place in a traditional shop environment with varying temperatures, loud noise levels, and potential exposure to fumes or odors

• Must follow all safety requirements, including the use of appropriate protective equipment

• Flexibility to work overtime as needed, with schedules potentially reaching 50–60 hours per week
