This position involves performing MIG welding on metal components and assemblies. Candidates must have at least one year of MIG welding experience in a manufacturing, fabrication, or similar industrial environment. The ability to interpret blueprints or technical drawings is preferred. Applicants should be able to pass a welding skills test.
Essential duties and responsibilities:
- Perform MIG welding on a variety of metal parts using appropriate techniques and safety procedures
- Interpret and work from fabrication drawings, blueprints, and work instructions
- Inspect welds to ensure quality standards are met
- Maintain and troubleshoot equipment as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
