Code Welder

Position Summary:

Responsible for various types of weld preparation, welding, and weld finishing operations to manufacture products to customer drawings, specifications, or other forms of instruction.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

• Proficient in assigned welding techniques
• Interpretation of mechanical drawings, including weld requirement symbolism
• Working knowledge of fixtures and weld set-up parameters
• Conventional and precision measuring instruments
• Process inspection, certification, and documentation
• Welding equipment maintenance

Requirements/Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities) 

• High school diploma, or equivalent
• Successful completion of an internal welding test
• One year experience in various forms of welding

This position requires frequent standing, talking/hearing, and lifting up to 10 lbs, with occasional sitting, walking, handling, and lifting up to 45 lbs. It involves navigating non-climate-controlled environments with potential exposure to fumes, toxins, and machinery, necessitating safety gear and close/color vision, with reasonable accommodations available.
