Join our dynamic team as a Machinist & Welder/Fabricator - Level II, based 100% onsite at our Stoughton, WI facility. In this hands-on, highly technical role, your craftsmanship will directly impact our daily operations and innovation. You will be the backbone of our tooling and manufacturing processes—servicing, supporting, and maintaining critical equipment to keep production running smoothly.
Leveraging your dual expertise in precision machining (including CNC, lathes, and mills) and structural fabrication (MIG/TIG welding), you will manufacture complex components and troubleshoot production machinery with minimal guidance. Responsibilities

- Support equipment uptime and downtime failure analysis.
- Performs work in accordance with diagrams, sketches, operation manuals and specifications using various tools, measuring and testing instruments.
- Follows all process documentation and quality procedures.
- Raises issues to minimize cost and quality exposures.
- Performs quality inspections.
- Delivery Ability to run all tool room equipment including Computer Numerical Controlled (CNC) machines, lathes, grinders, milling machines, drill presses and shapers.
- Ability to use measuring devices, layout work and set up of tool room machines to build or fabricate details and assemble as needed.
- Repairs and maintains manufacturing equipment .
- Performs and documents preventive, emergency, corrective and predictive maintenance activities.
- Maintains clean and orderly work area, including routine housekeeping and machine cleaning tasks.
- Identify and reduce manufacturing constraints.
- Schedule maintenance activities around production requirements.
- Solve problems and improve processes.
- Participate in continuous improvement activities.
- Teamwork Communicates effectively with the assigned team and with all support teams.
- Completes training and personal development in line with business requirements.
- Participates actively with local Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) teams in ways to improve quality, safety, process, material flow, and employee development.
QualificationsEducation
- High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.
- This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
Experience
- Responsible for fabrication processes.
- Has knowledge of fabrication shop equipment. (shears, drill presses, hydraulic presses, press brake, band saws, power and hand tools)
- Strong technical skills in a hands-on fabrication role
- TIG and MIG welding skills
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Work with production machinery and processes
- Troubleshoot production machinery
- Proficient at interpreting technical drawings and specifications
- Proficient computer knowledge/skills (Microsoft)
Base salary range: $49,061 - $61,327
Please note that the salary range provided is a good faith estimate on the applicable range. The final salary offer will be determined after considering relevant factors, including a candidate’s qualifications and experience, where appropriate.
