Are you a hands-on worker who takes pride in their work and has a passion for cars? This position will manually fabricate fiberglass and carbon fiber automotive parts for car enthusiasts all over the world. This position is the first level in the Fiberglass Fabricator series. This position will learn the trade of fabricating fiberglass to pre-made molds. As part of the fabricating process, you will apply gel-coatings, rolling fiberglass, utilizing a chopper gun, and trimming off excess material.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform cleaning and waxing of the molds in preparation for application of gel coat and fiberglass.
- Ability to correctly mix gel coat.
- Must have basic skills to spray molds, roll fiberglass into designated mold, grind excess material from fabricated parts, and repair parts as needed.
- Ability to work in tolerance with high attention to detail.
- Maintain clean and orderly work areas.
- Must adhere to safe work procedures and the use of necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) where to ensure operator safety.
- Constantly work to improve processes; make suggestions for productivity improvements, and optimize workflow, while continuing to meet our customers’ needs.

- Perform all other duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements and Working Environment
- Ability to rarely lift and carry <65 lbs. and rarely push/pull up to 100 lbs.
- Constant walking and standing.
- Frequent bending/reaching, twisting, kneeling, squatting.
- Rare work above shoulder level.
- Must be able to constantly pinch, grasp, fine manipulation with fingers and occasionally use power tools.
- Work environment includes fiberglass dust from sanding and fumes generated by the molding process.
What you'll need to succeed in this position:
- High School or GED Required.
- Must be able to read, write and comprehend the English language.
- Must be able to communicate effectively with others and follow detailed instructions.
- Must be able to work in confined spaces and follow established safety procedures.
Schedule
First Shift: Monday–Thursday | 6:30am-5pm
The Fiberglass Facility is located at 610 L Street, Lincoln, NE.
